SHOULDER BRACING

The Erix Three® Neuro shoulder is a shoulder brace that has been designed to provide positioning, support and proprioceptive feedback to patients with neurological disorders. The shoulder joint is the largest non weight bearing joint in the body that completely rely on proprioceptive feedback and balance between the muscles and ligaments. Any imbalance can affect the functionality of the joint negatively.

ErixThree® Neuro has been designed to provide the shoulder joint with a posterior safe position. It will retract the shoulder posteriorly in order to increase functionality and to create a better position for the joint. In many neurological disorders the anterior antagonists can become short or dominating when the posterior antagonists like Supraspinatus, Infraspinatur and Teres Minor are not functioning properly. This will cause the shoulder joint to slide anteriorly.
